Called "Threadpainting", this doily is crocheted
using three strands of regular sewing thread held together. As you
crochet, you drop one thread of one color and add another thread of
another color to create the subtle color shadings. Any pattern and
combination of thread colors may be used with this technique.
(Quite frankly, this is my favorite thing that Mom makes. I just
love them!) |
