I got this wonderful little boro bead from Jewel's
Beads Julie Suchy and found that I had beads that matched it.
The pattern is one that I learned years ago from a class at Embellishments
that was taught by Diane Fitzgerald called something like Victorian Tassel
Amulet. Being a netting design, it works up pretty fast. I
used size 11 Japanese beads in an inky blue and a color lined sandy
color. Accents are Swarovski crystals in a Montana color and I'm not
sure what the 4mm Swarovski color is called but it matches very
nicely. All I had to add was a strap to finish the piece. |
