Even in these pictures you can see the beauty of this
boulder opal from Australia.Surrounding this cab are beautiful blue charlottes. Accents are
created with the pearl white charlottes and some white opal gilt-lined
size 15 beads. You would not believe how sweet this little gem
is. To give you some idea of size, from the outer edge of the top
picots to the outer edge of the bottom picots this piece is 1½"
tall. That is a lot of beadwork in a small space. And with the
facets of the charlottes winking and blinking in the light, this jewel
will definitely get attention.
This piece has a pin back and a bail and therefore may be worn as
either a pin or on a necklace chain.
