To me, this looks like a woman with frizzy hair and pearl earrings
on.
The focus of this piece is this wonderful cab of iolite. Also
known as water sapphires, iolite has a beautiful blue depth to it,
especially in this stone. Using lots of sterling silver charlottes,
I gave it a bezel with a short fan accented with iolite rondelles and 2
blue freshwater pearls.
May be worn as a pin or as a pendant.
