the Beach
I'm sure that some of you were wondering just exactly what happened to Mom and I. Well, we're here by the beach - in Wilmington, North Carolina to be exact. We still don't have everything unpacked but we are finally starting to get back into the swing of things - and that means that we are getting to do a little bit of beading and crocheting and knitting and ... I'm sure that you understand what I'm talking about. I am finding myself inspired here near the beach. Sometimes, things so dramatic such as a move halfway across the Nation, can supply a kick start to one's muse. Sometimes I wish that there were more hours in the day so that I could accomplish more.
I tried to catch all the e-mail address changes that needed to be made, but of course, there is always the possibility that I might of missed 1 or 2. If you have a e-mail bounce back, then come back here and click here: There are some new things that I've added to the website. One thing is that I've added a new free bead pattern. If you feel like starting early for something to wear at Christmas time, just click here or look under the "For Sale" button. I've also done lots of new necklaces in vivid colors. I just love the new colors for Spring and Summer and I've snagged some great lampwork and fused glass pendants. Be sure to take a look at the new things by clicking here or click on the "Necklace" button. In addition, bracelets have been high on my "fun to do" list. Bracelets are a great way to try out a new technique, color combination or design idea. There are several new one waiting for you to check them out, so be sure to click here or on the "Bracelet" button. "Other Cool Stuff" has a new addition - my first bolo that I call the Eagle and The Wolf. The cab is absolutely gorgeous so don't overlook this piece. For a shortcut to go directly to this piece, just click here. In the meantime, I plan on working on more beadwork. I think that it will be interesting to see how this move affects my work. As we continue on this journey of discovery... Bead Happy! Debra
