I have not forgotten how to work with cabs. My newest
piece is this necklace with a cabochon of bloodstone. The freeform
shape has charlottes of dark green and dark red in a bezel around
it. Accents are several rows of twists of the dark red charlottes
with tiny 2mm jade beads mixed in. The "chain" part of
this necklace is that ever versatile internet chain using the dark green
charlottes for the core and loops of dark red charlottes accented with the
occasional 2mm jade bead. A sterling silver clasp completes the
piece.

The face has a smooth shiny polish like glass and those white flecks are
part of the stone, not flaws.
