Sometimes jasper can be moody, as in this case.
Depending upon the lighting, this piece can look more blue or green.
Imperial jasper comes from Mexico and this particular kind is sometimes
known as "ojitos", or "little eyes". Cut by Joe
Jelks, this cab may be small but it really packs a punch. Using olive AB charlottes and blue
picots around the cab to serve as a bezel, I
used two sweet apatite rondelles for accent.
This piece may be worn as a pin or as a pendant. |
